Stopping Strange Track Behaviour

Hi, I haven't posted in this forum for a while so my apologies in advance because I know this problem has come up before.

Every time I go and change a piece of track in the Route Editor, my Sessions end up with track "leaping" all over the layout. I know how to fix this but I'm wondering what I am doing wrong in the first place.

I did some searching of this forum and I gather that the forum preferred method of editing routes (i.e. track) is to edit the route layer while in Session Layer. Is that correct?

I'm a bit rusty with route and session building since I've been spending more time with building assets lately. But I want to finally release a route I've been working on (and off) for about six years!

I believe that was a problem with using the undo button to much I know that use to be a problem in 2006

Oh yes, now I remember that. I do tend to use the Undo a bit. But I'm using TS12.

Disable undo in options and the problem goes away,!
