Still Stumped with FTP DL'ing -.-

In Content Dispatcher (when invoked by double-clicking a CDP file) there should be a drop-down list titled "Extract" in the lefthand panel (I'm not talking about the separate Extract button in the righthand panel). The item selected in that drop-down list should be TRS2004 followed by your build number in brackets. Under it, the path should be C:\Program Files\Auran\TRS2004 (or wherever you installed TRS2004).

Is yours the same?

John

If you have not got any downloads i would suggest you do a clean install of 04. It would appear that your registry is not seeing trainz for some reason and the path may be corrupted. I assume you have not created any routes or altered and downloaded anything as you said your world folder was empty. If you do have a folder in in there copy it to your desktop to be put back later.

i re-installed trainz, still no luck....i give in now :(
at least my other addons are still there *sigh of relief*

If you still have the energy (and if you haven't already tried it of course):
Disable UAC.
Uninstall TRS2004.
Delete any debris left in C:\Program Files\Auran
Run a Registry cleaner to wipe out all the old entries for TRS2004.
Reinstall TRS2004, running the installer in Administrator mode.
Then set all the TRS2004 exe files to run in Administrator mode of course.

Jeebers, what a pain (not you, the software!)

nah its alright content dispatcher i think is slowly trying to make me insane....thank to everyone who helped, have a nice day bye bye

One final thought - the Razorback installer bypasses all this nonsense, if our stuff interests you at all.

John
