Still learning: Pls confirm my understanding

I've download and read what I've been able to find related to these "fixed track switches" that were created by "Olegkhim" and "Gawpo50". It's my understanding that using these nice alternatives (1) eliminates the requirement to add a separate "switch KUID" to this track also; and, (2) I would still use the appropriate "signal KUID" as would be required. I've experimented with them a bit within surveyor and my results seem to indicate my conclusions stated. I'd appreciate confirmation or any input you think is appropriate. Thanks, Bob. PS: I continue to be amazed at the quality and detail of the content available for download contributed by the scores of talented providers. I'm really enjoying my learning curve so far.

1- not really as a point (red/green arrow with lever ) is auto placed with any track.
But you do get animated trackwork.
2- correct, signals as required.
