still can't get trainz 2012 patches to work

have tried to install patches as suggested from site iwas directed to. don't have any other version of trainz installed. if possible a step by step procedure would be appreciated. if not is there aversion to get that is easier to apply the patches to or is there a newer build out there.

You have to install the correct patch for your build first then work up to the latest one.
There are 5 patches so far. link below.
What problem are you having, if it's saying it can't find trainz you'll have to direct it to, for eg C:\TS2012 assuming it's in C drive.

I have just reinstalled Trainz 2012 and patched sucessfully. From the opening splash screen, select Options, then the Planet Auran tab wait a bit then click on Patch trainz. If your install is ok and your login is ok, it should (and did in my case) patch automatically to the latest. Best of luck.
