Station woes 2

Just little curious here guys, I'm testing out a route I've put together and have been trying some of the secondry lines rather than just the main line and I have found that the "local" loco's (3 car dmu and a small steam engine) stop with only the loco or first car of the dmu in the station, The route in basically BR but I have used a number of small American stations (Valhalla etc) and I was wondering whether the stations are directional/national that is to say BR is like the roads drive on the left so putting an American station which is opposite to the BR in the route means that the stopping point for the loco's is at the wrong end of the station.

Other than adding trackmarks or custom build AJS stations at every station is there anything that can be done??????

Thanks

The stations aren't directional, but the scripting is old. I have had trouble with North American passenger trains not stopping properly at these old stations. The trains tend to sometime not even stop. They slow down, go through the motions, then continue on. Other times I've had the trains go through the motions and open the doors, and other times when they've stopped just as yours have with short trains. Austin Hockey's CN Stratford stations also has similar issues as well with trains slow down, get ready to stop, but continue on with doors open.

Have the same problem with Stn MN various stations.
Trains stop at the start of the platform and then stop every few feet along the platform.
This happens running either UK or USA directions. (Thought I would try both.)
I thought it might be possible to remove some of the 5 trackmarks per side but it didn't work.
These stations are Built-in items so I had assumed they would work.
