Hmmmm. You might change the search parameters of your forum search (You DID use the search facility of the forums, right? Accessed by clicking the "search" link third from the right, just under the navigation frame at the top of the window--at least that's where it is on my screen). When I used the search parameters "spline" and "tutorial" just now, one of the first links was to posts in a thread from a couple weeks ago, in the "Content Creation Support" forum, initiated by Bruce Freeland, under the subject "Novice Problem" which answers your question.
