Spline height in Surveyour.

When using the spline option in surveyor, in the advanced section, I can enter a value
for the height, but it will now no longer accept the minus sign (-). If I lower the spline
manually then check the height, it will show the height with the minus sign, but it will
not accept it if I enter it.
I'm baffled, anyone got any ideas?

Did you do a search, because I seem to remember something about this being discussed before, but I don't remember what it was. Sorry.

Yes that was the fix, delete the value even if it's zero and type -whatever height. Becomes automatic as in don't think about it after a bit!

I can't get this to work in T:ANE for Mac build 81343. I have become unable to manually enter heights for topography, track, or splines. Nor can I enter gradients.

This is a known bug with the latest Mac build. Hopefully, it has been fixed in the upcoming HF3, for which beta testing is due to start soon.

This is very helpful info, splines have been a wonderful aspect of Trainz but are a mystery to me i will have to study them it is a great way to do dirt roads and other useful things. Bridges come to mind and trestles and snow sheds too. But i need to learn how they are made so i can maybe make some myself. Esp around dirt road with irregular edges i saw a nice one I think over at Jointed Rail it may have been, a resources for free of a dirt road with a very nice jagged edge but if it is a spline this info on the value is very useful..thanks for the topic and the fix info. Better start a notebook of fixes.
