Speed with AI drivers

Can someone help me? My problem is that when I set a maximum speed in the track with light signals, the AI drivers go slower than the maximum speed.

Check that your signalling is correct, as it will run slower if it's not. Also be aware that trains will only go as fast as their enginespecs allow.

The point is that the train (in this case the walt disney world monorail) can reach about 70mph, and the signalling is correct, but thanks for answering.

While the signalling may be correct, it may not be right, if that makes any sense. Trainz signalling doesn't seem to work like the real world signals do.

I have decided not to put any speed signals, and it seems to work perfectly, but thank you for your help!

I have a hunch that you might have used speed signs calibrated in kilometres per hour rather than miles per hour...
