Lets not forget the SP was in money trouble at the end. If it wasn't for the UP the SP would have had to file for bankruptcy. The SP was DOOMED!

Anyways, in other news: I think I might post my own screenshot soon related to SP, I got a sudden love for them the other day due to this one movie featuring the Central Pacific which as I found out merged with the SP.

You mean DRGW? Because they actually were recovering after the buyout. But I don't think the UP would've snatched SP if it had gotten that bad. I think the PRR/NYC/PC affair somewhat made other RR's think about mergers. I still can't believe Conrail didn't go bankrupt. I think all the RR's that made Conrail filed for bankruptcy.

Oh and do you think that SP would've filed for the type of bankruptcy that would've allowed them to stay around and rebuild or not?

In this game you are the owner of your railroad world and thats all that matters!


Play nicely with others and the world can be yours, otherwise like in the real world there will be wars over nothing more than that of opinions that can never be won on any battlefield.
