Just some Photos taken on Friday 12/21/12
Probably one of the few times the museum has ever had two steam engines hot at once. #346 and #40 both set to go. Sneaking in this shot is D&RG 191, the oldest existing steam engine in Colorado. It just got moved from the stub track its been sitting on for years.
Another angle.
Wider shot including both U6B's.
I spent most of the day on 346's deck breaking coal and sometimes running an injector. After a ride and spin on the table, I got this shot of 346 holding on the turntable approach track as #40 goes for a spin.
