Simulator Trainz Query...

Hi, why is it I can not re download some stuff from their web site I already have paid for? Specifically some digital Jointed Rail locomotive packs.

I recently accidentally deleted some of these packs and now I find there is no "re download button" or similar link to re download from. Is it because the price of these packs were good at the time of paying for these and now they are not? Or have I missed a link where this is still possible to d/load?

Any other digital content I paid for and d/loaded, like N3V Games content, I can re download if I so desire but not these digital JR Content. Please do not refer me to JR, I bought and paid for this content with Simulator Trainz, hence they should be able to get me to re download this content again. It is not that I broke some CDs or DVDs as this is and was a digital d/load.

Thank you.

So ,my question to you, is , instead of posting this question here, why didn't you post it on the forum dedicated to Jointed Rails? Wouldn't that make more sense, or am I missing something ? http://forums.auran.com/trainz/forumdisplay.php?87-Jointed-Rail

Yep you missed it, he bought the digital download from N3V not Jointed Rail, so there should be a download link for it at the new shop under My downloads, I'm guessing there isn't thus the post.

My question to you is:

Why don't you read my post proper before you jump up and down and hyperventilate and do yourself some harm? I DID NOT BUY these loco packs from JR, I bought them from/through Simulator Trainz as I clearly and plainly stated in my original post. HENCE...

I have not had this particular problem, even though I bought some JR packs through SimCentral during the massive sale, but it's something that will likely require a Helpdesk ticket. If you went over your download limit, they will reset it.

Before you do that though, if you are using an ad-blocker or a firewall with some sort of site control, try turning it off, restarting your browser, and see if re-download links are offered. AdBlockPlus is pretty good, but some of the lesser blockers sometimes block stuff they do not intend to. If not, re-enable any adblocker or firewall stuff and send the Helpdesk ticket.

Good Afternoon Vinnybarb
Just to confirm, are you talking about the Simulator Central website (I'm not sure what 'Simulator Trainz' is, although I do seem to recall a site using a similar name at one point?).

If they were purchased through the Simulator Central website, then there is a limit on the number of times that the files can be downloaded. However, if you contact the helpdesk, we should be able to assist you with this :)

Regards

Sorry, my bad :o. Yes I meant Simulator Central, thank you for your answer. Will do after I check my backups again to see if these d/loads might be hiding there. If not, I will contact HelpDesk.

Thanks again :Y:.
