Signals with distant feathers

Hi all,

Me again with yet another query - apologies again if this has already been asked before. I thought I had found a thread on it but I can't find it again so perhaps it hasn't.

Anyway, I have a 'home' bracket signal outside my terminus station (figure A). The dolls relate (L-R) to the loop and the main platform. The disc signal just behind it for the bay platform.

At the platform itself, there is a run round loop (figure B).

At the points to the loop/platform, there are two feathers for the home signal to lock onto and raise the correct signal. However, there are 3 disc signals in between the home signal and the loop points.

Is there a way to get the home signal to ignore these signals to enable the feathers to be seen? Otherwise the home signal looks to the first shunt signal and only the right arm raises.

Cheers,

PLP

Signals only look at the block ahead. In your case, the block is between the semaphore and the shunt signal. If you have to use shunt signals you might try the lever ones which show the shunt signal but are not signals.

Hi Stagecoach,

Thanks for your quick response. I had a feeling that would be the case. Not to worry, it still works as it is, it would have just been one of those 'nice to haves'.

Cheers,
