Signalling complex interlockings

Approach_Medium

Trainz Addict
Good evening;
I am working on signalling a USA route (CSX) which has some complicated interlockings.
I don't know how to create a signalling system for such an interlocking, which has several sets of crossovers. For example, I would like the signals to show that a train is heading for the yard, or controlled siding, with approach (yellow) as the least restricting signal (no clear).

Can I write script for signals?

Thanks

SIGNALLING & controlling INTERLOCKINGS

I have experimented with signalling/controlling of complicated interlocking schemes for a few years, and my choice was the scheme devised by the Trainz Rules Factory. This may be seen at their website:-

I have employed their system for both British and N.American (CP) railway layouts for my TRAINZ 2007 and find it most suitable. The British scheme used this in conjunction with a UK signal set from UKrailsim.

The Trainz standard USA signals worked with the JS scheme OK. The most problems were found with the selection of the correct signals!

Keep the signals simple becuase by being able to use the TRS signals, they interlock with the A1 train speeds etc.

Hope that this might assist you.

If I can be of other help, perhaps a track diagram would say it the best?

Cheers
