My signal will only show "left diverge" for the straight ahead route.
On a simple test layout I have the following track layout.
A main track which splits into 4, these are named L to R Yard1, Yard2, Platform1, Platform2.
The split is by a 2way jct, L branch splits again to Y1 & Y2, R branch splits to P1 & P2
When I place a signal with a Left Diverge indicator such as the built-in "Signal BR 2" before the 1st junction, it give a left indicator for routes to Y1, Y2 and P1. When I place Signal BR 3, with the right diverge indicator, I only get the feather lit for the route to P2.
This is solved by an additional (invisible) signal between the Main/Y1+Y2 junction and the P1/P2 junction, but of course then the sequence of colours is not preserved. I would have expected the left indication for ONLY Y1, which I could happily work round with an invisible permissive signal for the split to Y1/Y2, but not as it seems to be happening.
It appears that the Left indication is given for "Everything but Right", but when I use the signal BR3 the Right indication is only given for Right.
I know Trainz signals are a bit of a problem, and the situation I've tried to describe is not correct prototypically, but...
Is this normal Trainz behaviour? Can I do anything to change it?
I'm using TS2010, build 44088.
