Signal Model Graphics

Better known as "Signalmaster" on that other forum, I have just installed TRAINZ 2010. So assume I am in the midst of all the problems a "newbie" can find and have.

But what I would like to do is start importing the dozens of signal systems I created for MSTS into Trainz. They were all constructed with 3DCP which seem to have an export for Trainz format....whatever that is. Models include vertical colorlight, color position light, position light, semaphores.

What I need to find out is how to structure the model and the terminology it needs for the scripts to work the model.

I have gotten as far as laying track and adding the included signal objects. I have a couple of basic tutorials on setting up signals along the track.

I can be reached directly by email:

Regards.

Hi and welcome to Trainz!

the default Trainz format these days are .IM files for meshes and .kim for animations. Beyond that I really can't say but there are many people here who should be able to help you out.
You might want to take a look thru the varrious tutorials for Trainz on the Trainz Resources website:
