It also depends if you are prepared to spend the time installing the relevant patch, and possibly fixing pre-TS2009 content you use (although some of it will be fixable via downloadable content updates)

You don't need to go beyond TRS2004 to buy a FCT and TS2010 (or TS2009) will not get you a FCT. If you are happy with
TRS2004 and wish to stay with it, you will need a FCT to up/down load with the DLS. (yeah, I know, BUMMER!). If you get TS2009 or 10, you will not need a FCT but DLS downloads will be much faster with one.
In my opinion, TS2009 is currently the best choice but do

Even with a FCT, you cannot UP load with TRS2004, you can only DOWN load.

I think you shuid !!! (or is that should?) - For a 15 year old lad, I'd say spend less time on Trainz and more time on your school work (particularly English)... That way, there's less chance that "thebomb" will be bombing out of school...
And as for the "bloody" GP10 !!! Well, most contents creators don't go for "bloody" red GP10's, they prefer green, so I think you are going to be out of luck there !!!
Yes, we'd remaded you replace your TRS2004 with TS2010 if you can afford too... TS2010 is a quantum leap forward over TRS2004...

My post was possibly a bit harsh on you, when it wasn't suppose to be !!! (If it came across to you as me being a bit harsh, then I apologize)... What I was really trying to politely say to you is your school work/homework is far more important than Trainz...
Work hard on your grades, (particularly English), and if you get a good education, as the saying goes, "the world is your oyster"...
Find that happy balance were you're getting good grades and enjoying Trainz's in your leisure time...

I have to agree one hundred percent with what meatloaf advises there. Due to an accident I did not start school till I was eight years old and therefore left school with no qualifications, very poor English and maths.
It is possible to gain educational qualifications after you leave school as I did, but it is far more difficult when you are trying to hold down a job, possibly raise a family and learn at the same time.
Trainz is a hobby which can take up an awfull lot of time. Therefore spend that time on your education at this stage of your life and think about Trainz when there are less pressing problems later.
I have every sympathy with you even though your English is far better than mine was at your age. However, betterment only comes about through learning and hard work and at your age it's free.

Guys lately i'm been saving up money for a new computer and working at school and my part time job.I'm also studying english overall I get $1.25 an hour from my job and getting A-'s in english. Also I'm starting to get into
trainz again and studying each different model of each build.
