Here in America, we have a fine tradition of small local railroads buying used equipment from the larger railroads, a tradition which I believe is practiced around the world.

Approaching the Ramona siding between Bartlesville and Tulsa, Oklahoma, the South Kansas & Oklahoma 797 leads a load of waffles toward the seaport at Katoosa.
The 797 was originally Western Pacific's GP-35 #3019. Union Pacific took possession in December of 1983, and resold the unit in November of 1993.

The other two engines are ex-Santa Fe engines, a GP7-u and a GP-30. I don't know what causes the blue rectangle where the dynamic brakes aren't. I'm going to ignore it.
