Little project of mine... IC heritage unit (inspired by the BCRail SD70M-2s on the previous page). Can't decide if i want to keep silver trucks or not... Reskinned from JointedRail's PAYWARE MKT SD70ACe, so this can not be released. No gimmes please. Lots to do...

I think what MeowRailroad means is most of the time, black locomotives are reskined as a dark grey instead of straight up black, this allows the details to show up a little better.

That is what I meant, if you look closely you can see it, but if it was just a bit brighter it would be so much better. There is this AMAZING 2-8-0, I forget who made it, but philskene brightened the textures on it so the details could be seen better.

Don't change the color, just add some ash or dust effects to lighten and show details. It looks fine.

Anywho, those FEC skins look epic Vinnie!
Dipping my toes into SD45-2 reskins, not sure if I want to do all of the MRL SD45-2s, the number boards have some major glitches as well as the the long stanchions textures being in the same area as the fan guards as well as those textures are overlapping, which are all discouraging. But never the less they are still nice models.

Oh, I got my tricks. I desaturated the yellow and blue and then lightened up the blue. I did it to an RRmods SD40 last night which is down below. I'm starting to slowly change to RRMods, but the only problem I have with them, is I get a bug on the GP40. Other than that, I've had nothing but CDP's of goodness. Back to the SD40 though, I make "Primer" variants of the locomotives that I can't do the Bump trick with. I've got a couple of JR ones, RRMods, Sporbust, and I think some HPTrainz. NOT GIVING ANY OUT, UNLESS PERMISSION IS GIVEN FROM ORIGINAL AUTHORS.
