shortage of H.O scale models?

EDIT: at least we still have the Bowser kits, which are great if you only care about the Pennsylvania Railroad. (luckily I only care about the Pennsylvania Railroad)

Some reason Bowser kits are VERY hard to come by down here in Texas. In fact, the first time I saw one not at a train show was when I was in Illinois. The store had a whole wall dedicated to them. My dad bought a pensy boxcar with a unique rounded roof. He said it was the easiest kid to build ever.

what are these bowser kits you speak of? ive never heard of them nor seen anything that has a blue box exept for some un assembled athearn boxes....

Well, we still have Bowser for Pennsy(thankfully I model the Pennsy, and would the EBT if it wasn't so expensive for NG equipment, or hard to find H.O N3 stuff). We also still have Accurail for really nice models.

Check Ebay. I have seen EBT stuff more often than my own SPNG.

I have been dying to get an EBT M-1, to bad those are like the hardest to find. Mabie I can convince the local hobby shop to sell me theirs, as the owner never uses it, and it sits there in the back under a desk. Unpainted...

Ill take a picture and be back ASAP.

and I would need to invest in buying some H.O scale NG track...still expensive.

Not if you know where to find it. Yes, it is more expensive than normal HO, but not that much. Microscale makes pretty good hon3 track. That is what ALL of my hon3 part of my layout is, except for my shinohara switches, which are the only switches realy out there for hon3, and those are pretty pricy.

yeah, at this point, I think I want to surplus my SG PRR collection, before I branch off into the NG though,,,
