setting up Turntable/roundhouses in T:ANE

Hi all,

I want to know how to setup a roundhouse in a surveyor. Since now they are all modular, I have no idea how to put it all together. I've searched for a tutorial all over the net and skimmed the manual, but I can't find anything. Can someone please point me in the right direction?

Thanks,
Craig.

Hi Craig
I'm going to guess you're looking at the VR ones. In which case, there's 3 main components you need for a round house. First is the turntable itself, plus a 'stub' track, and the roundhouse segments (there should be 4 different segments from memory).

First step is to place the turntable itself, and position and orient it where you want. You'll also note that the turntable has multiple spline points around it's perimeter. This indicates where each 'road' can be attached.

The next step is to work out where you want your entry/exit track. When you've worked this out, place the appropriate 'stub' track, and rotate it to match the angle of that track. Now move it till it's basically aligned with the turntable. When you get within a few feet, it should 'snap' into position on the turntable. Repeat for any other tracks that don't lead into the shed itself.

Now you can add each 'segment' of the roundhound by choosing it from the menu, and then placing it as required using the same steps (it'll snap to the turntable as it's placed).

Regards
Zec
