How do I set up log stack industries 201-TS12-1 to work? Any particular log cars to use with it? Thanks.

I would be glad to answer your question if I knew the answer. These situations can often be resolved only through trial and error. I set up a new route/session with only a short track and the industry. Then an engine with a lot of different log cars with different loads specified. Then drive by the industry. Change and repeat until you find something.

pull up the industry in the content manager... right click LIST DEPENDANCIES a new window will pop up and you can see the commodities in this listing... right click the commodity and click list dependants this will bring up a new window with what cars installed that use this commodity...
Dave =)

Thanks for the tip !

The config file for railcars has a container named "allowed products". I would check to see that those products show up when you follow the procedure outlined in this thread.

Is that the way to find log wagons that will work with other log cranes as well? I ve been using a trial & error set up like pitkin uses but with the US logging wood Crane but no matter what log wagon I use from my installed assets the log when placed, just keeps dropping through the wagon and disappearing. There was a system I used in Ts 10 or 12 but cant seem to find it in Trs 19. Using your method above, does it list only those installed or also wagons on the DLS? Cheers

I am not sure who you are asking. AFAIK, if the product is not in the allowed-products container for the railcar, then the car will not accept it. I will not swear to that. I don't know about industry configs.

One thing you might try is to find a route that uses your Crane, and review the configuration that makes it work.

Adouble-click on the industry says it uses Tumes logging products, I would think 'TUME-300593-Logging-Flatcar-MILW will do the work for you.

Thanks Ghost. How did you double click on the industry? I presume it was done in CM, but would you mind explaining how . e g what asset or text did you actually bring up /display etc and the procedure so I can do it for others commodities? I know absolutely nothing about how its done. Thanks Cheers

Double-click any asset in Content Manager to reveal the asset creator's brief product description dialog.
<kuid2:82412:5001052:2> Log-Stack-Industrie-201-TS12 when double-clicked reveals the information Ghost42 mentions above.
That Asset Details dialog also allows you to visit the folder on your SSD containing the files for the asset, including its config.txt file, revealing lots more information, including the 'allowed commodities/ products' tag where applicable. (Click the 'Show in Explorer' command button).
Some asset creators offer very little information however, which can make it harder to choose their product without having to undertake further investigative effort to work out what their dependencies are and what they'll work with.
