Set Junction rule disappeared from the Session edit

I am experiencing an issue in Trainz where the Set Junction rule has disappeared from the Edit Session under Rules. This occurred after a system crash that required me to restart my Mac. Restarting both Trainz and my computer did not resolve the problem. Has anyone encountered this issue before or can suggest how to restore the Set Junction rule?

Run a database repair. On the Launcher, or on the menu bar in Content Manager, click on Developer and then Rebuild database.

When this is done:
Change the filter from installed to Faulty.
Highlight anything shown
Right-click and choose view errors and warnings.

If all goes well, you'll see zero errors and a bunch of warnings which you can ignore.
Exit that view and view faulty assets again. The screen should be clear of faulty assets except for some payware which has an issue right now after the latest update.

There are any faulty assets, other than some payware assets, view the errors again and post them here.

Hi John,

I am sorry for replying so late, but I just discovered that the cause of the crash was completely different from what I initially told you. I misled you with my information that Trainz had crashed and that, after reopening Trainz and the Edit Session, the Set Junction setting had disappeared.

While the crash did occur because I entered a switch number in the name field of the Set Junction command that was not accepted, the Set Junction was actually still there after reopening Trainz and the Edit Session. Due to my lack of knowledge, I was looking for this setting in the wrong place, which made me think it had disappeared. So, I gave you the wrong information.

On one hand, I am relieved that there are no major issues, but on the other hand, I realize that I know far too little about the correct settings for automating my test layout. I set it up to learn the basics of railway automation in Trainz.

My actual question is whether you could help me with this, as I find it difficult to locate these settings in the documentation. If you don’t want to, no hard feeling bult I thought could ask.

Best regards, and thanks in advance for your cooperation. If you are willing to help, I shall be happy to explain how my test layout is set up and what I am trying to achieve.

Hi Carel,

I'm glad your route and session are intact. It's too bad that a simple error like that will crash the sim due to the lack of error checking with this rule.

I am unable to help you with this because I have never used this rule. Others will respond, such as G.M. who has more knowledge of these kinds of things than I do.
