Session not working

Deleted all my commands for the trains and went to start brand new command. Set up one train to load coal and then unload somewhere else and saved it. When I go to run session train has no driver or commands. I also tried to save session and end game and restart no luck.

Have you set up the session rules, like "driver setup" which assigns the driver to a train. Also, you can give him commands to run the train.

Try

1) Create new session
2) Place down all the trains you want
3) Edit Session Rules, add or remove the commands you wish to use and don't want
4) Drive Session, note: Do not un-pause the game
5) Add the commands to each train
6) Save, overriding the session
7) Exit & reload the new session

Why do you have items 4 & 5.??

how can you drive the session when it is PAUSED.?

isn't 3 & 5 the same thing.?

That does work. I was trying to complete the commands in the edit session to avoid reloading the session. Thanks

Change commands, save edit, drive session no commands for the train,
This sounds like a case of confusion over sessions.

Driver commands and session rules are saved in the session so you must load that saved session, not just load the route, into Driver.

If you load just the Route into Driver you will get the default empty session which will have no driver commands assigned to any drivers.

My theory anyway.

I always load the session. The commands are there but there are no drivers or commands for the trains when you start session

Enter commands etc then save the session with a unique name. Use 'Drive Session'to make sure the commands are saved. Exit, reload the correct session to check all is well.
Fingers crossed may help. :)

That's the issue. When i use Drive Session none of the saved commands are there. The train doesn't even have the driver I assigned.

Try a bare-bones route/session, really simple, drive to trackmark, and work up from there. If that doesn't work it seems a re-install may be required.

Great suggestion. Made a new simple route and everything worked. The program appears to be working so I am going to try a data base rebuild.
