serial key issue

Yesterday I was running Trainz, when my computer had to shut itself down because it was over heating. When I tried to run Trainz again an hour later it said I had hadn't registered a valid serial number, and I haven't been able to get on Trainz or download anything to it since.

What am I doing wrong?
 
I think the issue is at Auran/N3V's end, so best thing to do is keep trying.

Do check that your details are still present in the Trainz Options box though.

You probably need to do an Extended Database Repair, especially if you shut down with Trainz running or recently closed. The EDR function is located in ContentManager. FYI, it can take awhile.

re-enter the serial number
 
If need be you can find your registered serial number in your profile, accessible at the top of this page.;)

And even better. Copy the serial number from your profile. Then paste it into the slot where you would normally type the serial number in. This will save you time.

That might create unnecessary work for you. Just manually enter your username and serial number again in the appropriate places, don't copy / paste.
