Semaphore Animations and Interlocking Towers

Hi all,
I am using an Interlocking tower at a station on my route to control a few junctions automatically, however the semaphore signals animations don't seem to work within the paths. The signal light show as green or red but the signals arm stays in the red position.

Is there a way to fix this?

My initial thought is that the signal probably uses an older script.
