Seeking Advice for AI Train to Spawn, run and disapper

I am hopeful in making some sessions to have limited AI as it is a single line route. i hope to have AI trains operate and or appear, run and stop or dissapear when the player train shows up.

Are there any triggers that ppl know of that make the command process automatic or do we need to do it all with rules?

A final issue i am working on is if the player train needs track markers to navigate to...i am guessing we just tell the player where to go using the pop up messages...I have not seen anything that says we need to give the player train markers or triggers to go to to succeed.

It may not be necessary to have the AI disappear or stop when the player train shows up. It's certainly possible to have AI and player trains mixing it on a single track with crossing loops, though the track plan needs to be designed with this "feature" in mind.

Have you tried my "Krashnburne"? It's a good demonstration of what can be achieved with AI operating in both directions on a single track with the player thrown in too. See here:
