Seasonal Track?

I seem to remember seeing a thread on here about this a while back, but I can't seem to find it now. I've been using seasonal textures so I can run the same routes under different conditions without having to change the route itself. It would be nice to have track that can also change - at least have snow when the snow elevation setting is changed, triggering the change to the textures. I thought there was a thread where someone said there was such a thing, but a search on "seasonal" in Content Manager only turns up textures. I thought perhaps it might have been one of mcguirel's "Ultra" tracks, but so far none I've tried have worked.

So is anyone aware is such track exists and where I might find it? Thanks!

Thanks John. I've downloaded his Ultra Track Main Line <kuid2:72938:38011:1>, which is described as "US Wooden - Mainline 2010 Summer Mesh Library: Reskin of UK Bullhead Track, built to TS09 standards, but with TS2010 Season Change." But I see no changes when I switch to a winter month nor when I change the snow elevation. The textures change, but not the track. I also downloaded the version of this track with "Snow" in the name <kuid2:72938:38012:1>, in case I had to have both in order to work, but no joy. That was why I was wondering if it wasn't some other track somewhere. There was a thread about this, but for the life of me I can't seem to find it! But someone mentioned that there was indeed a track that would do what I wanted.

I guess when I want to make the snow session for the route, I could create a separate one and use the replace asset function to swap out for a snowy track. But it would be nice to have the flexibility.

McGuirel's tracks are seasonal, in that she made a winter version that has some clumps of snow on them. But they dont change with the snow. TUME is/has made some truly seasonal track. It changes from clean ballast to snow covered, depending on snow alt settings. But he has yet to release it. Check out his thread about his Avery Drixel route.

Does anyone have dirt001 seasonal<kuid2:122860:100252:2>?
Yes, it is packaged in the Canadian Rocky Mountain Routes:
<kuid2:122860:100316:55> Canadian Rocky Mountains - Columbia River Basin
<kuid2:122860:100436:27> Canadian Rocky Mountains - Golden, BC
<kuid2:122860:100494:19> Canadian Rocky Mountains - Rogers Pass and probably others.

Use the link for the DLS in the menu above and search for seasonal in the description and choose track in the drop down and you will find some more. CM doesn't have the ability to search in an asset's description.

BTW, McGuirel is a lady.
