In TRS has "second tender" for the locomotive? (screenshot):

boo, everything ive found about the k&l aux tender is that it was suppose to be freeware.

They carry additional water and IIRC are called water tenders or auxiliary tenders or some combination thereof. Water gin or something like that might be used outside the US. Wolf_9 wrote a script to transfer water from the aux tender to the regular tender. I'm pretty sure there were few free ones out there (a UP one based on the gas turbine tender). The K&L wip may in fact be a freeware item when jt's finished.

This was probably 2006 time fame when Wolf_9 wrote script in the old forums which was a couple of pages long IIRC again. That was in the old forums of course. But you will find some old threads about this in current forums if you search on "aux water tender".

Listing of Wolf_9's script is available in the CCG for TC3 on pg 366 - 368: "Auxiliary Tender or Water Gin for Steam Locos, Script by Wulf_9". Not sure where and if that ccg is still available - I think it was the last official ccg manual distributed as pdf file by N3V. Just taking a quick read thru of the script and I suspect it would need some updating.
