SD20 in Trainz??

Trainzer/Aviator
Hi all! Does anyone know if any 3rd party SD20s have been made for Trainz? I know there is 1 on the DLS, but it leaves a little to be desired (that said, I couldn't do any better, so I'm not knocking it...too much). I tried searching various sites with no success, but that doesn't mean there isn't one hiding out there. Thanks for the cue-in, if it so exists.

If you can settle, there is a payware SD38 on jointedrail.com in Reading & Northern livery. There's also SD38s at rrmods.com, but again, only down to SD38. Seems damn near impossible to find SD20s. Good luck on your hunt, my friend.

Yeah, those appear to be GP20s...but thanks for sharing! I'm looking for an SD20. I've got SD38s & 39s from JR & RRMods both - like them all! You'd think that there isn't "much" of a need to model an SD20, as only 42 were built by ICG. But after IC was done with them, they got scattered to the winds! WSOR, IAIS, C&IM, IHB, RailAmerica all picked up about a half-dozen a piece, and various aggregate companies and grain elevators got singles. If I had the skills, I'd gladly make my own model and share. I suspected there were none available, but figured I would ask, just in case I had missed them!

Hmmmm. I did some SD20's a loooooooong time ago for the original Trainz. I don't know if you can even use them with the newer versions of the software (they are CDP files). The textures aren't too great and they lack detail by today's standards, but they had a great many polys for the day :) I can dig them up if you want to try.

Can't hurt to try, I'd say! Thanks for the offer!
