Occasionally a session will show the red bug and the associated dialogue box that provides various obscure messages about script errors. Often these messages are similar across different routes/sessions but rarely give any clue about the offending asset or script.
In addition, clicking on a scripted asset in Surveyor or in Driver sometimes gives a message about a script error rather than showing the properties and control dialogs for the script. (An example is the Bulleid coaches by Pacificseven, both the older versions and those uploaded to the DLS yesterday).
I can never get to the bottom of these errors - is it my Trainz build or the asset itself, for example. In fact, it's not often clear what the script or asset involved actually is, never mind how it goes wrong and how to fix it. I've tried many search terms in the forum search box but found nada. Can anyone point me at a useful thread or other resource explaining something about common script-based errors/faults and what one can do to fix them?
