I searched the forums and can`t find the answer to this. I just set up a photobucket account so I can post screenshots, the problem is when I take a screenshot in trs2006 it`s a TGA file which is not supported by any photo sharing site I`ve seen so far. How do I convert it to a JPEG file so I can post pics? Or is there a way to take the screenshot as a jpeg file? I want to be able to post pics not just links, the best I can do now is post a link to a picture folder on msn and it`s kind of a pain to see the pics.

You need to download a graphics manipulation program to do so. There are some free ones like Gimp and Irfanview.

Ok,thanks. I just read reviews for Irfanview and I`ll try that one. The only thing I want it for is to post here and to put the pics into my windows photo gallery. Do I need the plug ins and add ons for it as well? The website shows one spot to download the program and another for plug ins

Thats good to hear, I don`t know why they used tga`s, it seems like they`re not compatible with anything. So, I got the pics changed to jpeg, put in my folder in photobucket and posted on here but I can`t get it to post the pic, just the link to it. I know it can be done from photobucket because if you right click on screenshots on here and look at properties most of them are from photobucket or imageshack.

My question. I use ImageShack. I know how to post but which section do I click on for the image to appear on the forum. I always get a link in which you have to click on to see the image. How do I get the image to appear without having to click on the link? Thanks.

Ok, finally got it to do what I wanted, thanks! I did notice something a bit backwards though. If I use the link, when I`m typing the message the pic shows up in the reply box until I submit it and then it just shows the link and when I do it with the img code it`s the exact opposite.
