Press "Print-screen" on your keyboard then go to C:\Program Files (x86)\N3V Games\TS12\UserData\screenshots or were ever you installed trainz.
Fraps is the answer
Hi Angela:
Go to the following web address and download Fraps: http://www.fraps.com/download.php
It is free. Just start it up when you want to capture something. Hit F5 (in driver mode) to get rid of the navigation bars top and bottom, move your mouse out of the frame and hit F10 for screenshots. Note: the free version saves in *.bmp. You will want to use a program to convert to *.jpg if you want to post onto the forums. It also takes 10 second movies (F9) and if you hit F11 it will display the frame rate that you are getting. Excellent software, I highly recommend it! Of course you get more features if you buy it, but it start with the free version.

A tip for screenshots - in Surveyor press alt+U - this goes to 'fly' mode and you can compose your picture by using the page up/page down and up/down arrow buttons to get the best view before pressing Prt Scr. (This is for TS2010 - I don't know if it applies to TS12.)
Your screenshot will need editing in your graphics program, depending on your screen resolution, to get it the right size for illustrating an upload to the DS (240 x 180) or for inclusion as a screenshot in the forums (640 x 480).
