The Scottish Highlands at Dalmunzie: the Climb Begins
This is Dalmunzie in the Scottish Highlands [1] and a slow, but scenic, procession is just starting up into the mountains. This tiny train is being led by leading a pack horse carrying the picnic hampers (just visible climbing steadily away in the distance).
If you think this sounds like a wild fantasy, think again! There's footage of it all happening in the late 1960's at

The screenshot was taken on the newly rebuilt "Dalmunzie - Glenlochsie" route <KUID:283805:100151> & session ("Dalmunzie - Glenlochsie 1978" <KUID:283805:100152>). The route was reworked by tmz06003 from Vern's Dalmunzie route (with permission). Enjoy!

[1] Dalmunzie is in Perthshire and is (now) 72 miles, by road, from where my mother was born and grew up in Inverurie, Aberdeenshire.
