Look again at my pic and Briana's pic.Mines is an R160.BRIANA is an R143
There really is no difference to the exterior front of the R143-160 they look exactly the same only difference is the Flag other than that no difference between the exteriors I will take pictures of a R160 I saw at Atlantic Avenue Pacific st on the N line where the flag was below
here are R160s and R143s and u will see no difference

Which one is which, I couldn't tell besides the flags.

Now when someone says I like an r160 over an r143 I'm gonna think they are crazy unless they are heavily into flag positioning on rail cars. :hehe:

One of my MBL or Metropolitan Blue Line D stocks passes a NYC visitor on its way to Far Points ( this is my fictitious route of the Delaware Bay Metropolitan Transportation Autority) Its a snowy morning here in Delaware Bay.If you look close you can see the R160's bogies are a brownish Grey instead of the yellow rusty brown. :)

Here is my entry. It is based off of a photo that is my wallpaper. I'm sure someone will recognize it.:hehe: (t he photo was taken by a forum member)
Also I know it isn't a perfect copy of the photo. I am sick and slightly feverish right now, and was the same way when I made this. Yes I know that the ground cover kinda sucks.

Great job on that screenie jadebullet. I recognized it even before reading your post. Your right the ground cover sucks but you still did a great job copying the picture. The only problem I see in you pic is the lead loco is a SD70Ace. In the real pic it's a AC4400. Once again. Great job.:Y:

Ah, ok that's what the lead loco is. I still havent gotten most of my identifications down yet. I'm glad that you enjoyed it.

Some very nice shots here.

ex-railwayman...that shot makes me want to stop off at the pub for a pint and a cornish pastie. :)

Cheers,
Fred
