An Austrian (?) 0-6-2 tank loco hauls a short mixed train across a particularly deserted section of line.

Good luck to all who enter!

It's a real bridge over the river Yauza in Moscow. But now there aren't railroads there(((

Passengers disembark from the 4:15 GO at Brampton Station, while a CN general freight, headed by 3 SD40-2's passes by slowly on the second track.

While it could be considered rare on other roads, this catch of two Mayburry Northern EMD BL2s rolling through Mayburry, Pennsylvania in 1953 wasn't such a rare occurance. While the BL2 never really caught on with the other roads that purchased them, it was perfect for the Mayburry's cement, gravel and ore runs. Though the geep would eventually outshine them even on the Mayburry, they were still quite common, and with Twelve total locomotives, the Mayburry Northern was the largest purchaser of this locomotive, even going on to purchase three more from other rail companies.

Caught with an old Kodachrome in 1953s by Kermit Geary, as the two locomotives thundered through the center of town with a cut of empty covered hoppers for cement.

Your 2 1/2 year old has a good eye for form...fantastic shot! You guys got my vote.:p

I hope you told him what a useful engine he is!;)

You know, he has cost me 3 mice, and 2 keyboards in the last 3 months (Tax write offs are abit higher this year heh). Lil guy likes to bash them abit to hard at times. But he is a smart cookie. Knows how to turn on my PC, and load up Trainz, So he is off to a good start I say :) I have about 8 Screenshots where he has taken them ( I am sure its blind luck on hitting that key) and they look pretty good, usually better then anything I take a screenshot of.

Cheers

Trent
