Screenshot of the Week: Ends 5-8 - Yard shots

Hello,

Thanks you for your Comments ! :D

.... So I took a dutch - french dictionairy and looked up the dutch word for this, "rangeerterrein". Now, out of curiosity, what's the swiss word (sweizerdeutch, wrong spelling probably:hehe: ) for this?

Greetings from nighttime Amsterdam,

Jan

I only Speak French...

For me “Yard” Means :

Zone de Manoeuvres
Terrains de manoeuvres
Dépot ??
Gare de triage ??

Well, your english isn't too bad either.

I thought switserland allways was a multi lingual country with french, italian and german speaking parts, at least that's what the consence was when I visited your beautifull country a few times as a young boy with my parents before the 1960's. What I asked for is probably a dialect in some of the german speaking kantons. But this is getting very off topic, so lets leave it here. Good luck with your route building and, if I didn't say this allready, nice shot.

Just passing through

A South Bound NS Freight passes a small yard in the town of forrest creek as the Switcher sorts cars for local deliveries.

My Inagural.

Today wasn't a good day here in Shelby.
Jerry got the stomach flu after we ate at McDonalds last night. I also was up with the gas all night long...pew!
Anyway since Jerry was still ailing from his "food poisoning" I went out by myself, then it started to rain. However I still got a great shot of some BNSF action in the yard.

Nice one Jim!
I take it the above scene is on NCC?
Are you going to post more pics of the said layout anytime soon on your thread?
I'm still waiting to see more.
