Greetings.

1. Weekly SSoTW cycles are extended to bi-weekly to allow more entries to join in.
2. There will still be occasional themed weeks but this would be reserved for major holidays and notable dates.
3. There will no longer be a voting week after submissions close.
4. You can vote for entries as soon as they're posted by "liking" them, so send your entries in early to give it a longer voting period.
5. You can "like" as many entries as you want!
6. The "likes" are tallied at the end of each cycle and results posted as usual. Any "likes" after this are not counted.
7. If you have feedback or suggestions regarding the new system, feel free to also leave them in the replies below.

There is no theme this week.
One screenshot allowed per entrant. Screenshots must adhere to the Trainz Forum Code of Conduct.

Submissions and voting close on August 25.

Cheers,
Nick

Miles and miles of nothing but miles and miles - The year is 1994, and WVRR C430 #244, the road's 'retro' unit backdated to its as-delivered 1967 paint scheme, leads two Southern Pacific EMDs and a Conrail C30-7A on a westbound hotshot between Salt Wells and Fallon, NV. This train is run-through traffic between Cobre (former Nevada Northern interchange with the SP) and Hazen (WVRR interchange with the SP), running under an agreement that was penned as part of the 1988 DRGW-SP merger, in which the WVRR was able to acquire a run-through agreement, partially to attain some much-needed track upgrades (as many of the WVRR's rails until that point still dated back to the 1930s) and partially to alleviate pressure on the already-congested UP-SP directional running. The result is seen here, as over a mile of hot tonnage flies across the barren desert at track speed.
(Note: virtually all of this is my own headcanon for the Washoe Valley.)

I have noticed that clicking on an image takes you to a full view yet using an imgur link, as I have, does not. How then do you post to this thread to create the full image and thumbs when clicking the image? I though imgur did this...obviously I am mistaken.
