Screenshot of the Week: 20-Jan-2013 to 27-Jan-2013 (Warning: large shots potential)

From my accidental submission last week, UP on the Harbor Master. Forgive me for the default stock, as I haven't downloaded much yet.

How about another angle?

Hi Dustin:

Nice shots, but please note that only one screenshot is allowed per entrant as stated in the opening post. Please choose which shot you would prefer to enter and edit the other one out of your post. If this does not happen by the time submission closes, only the first shot will be counted and the second one will be disabled.

Thanks,

Zachary.

Screw them both. I'm entering this one instead. A CN U-2-g speeds along the shores of the PO&N with a fast passenger train in tow. Several forms of water are in this shot!

Casper,

Where is that imposing scenery supposed to be? What's the route and is it available on the DLS or somewhere else?

Peter.

Hello Peter.

The mountain scenery is on one of my routes, based on visits to mainland Europe.

It could be French, Swiss, or Italian Alps, which is where the inspiration came from. However, with the Renfe loco pulling the VSOE carriages I guess I ought to say the Pyrenees.:D

It’s all made up and exists only in my head (and on digital files).

I’ve not released any of my stuff, and probably won’t until I’ve managed to tidy up the four year old early stuff which is not too good.

It’s woefully slow in places because of asset overload caused by inexperience in my early days. I've learned how to economise with improved use of landscaping, ground textures and carefully selected low load assets. Going back over is taking a long time, so it could be a while before anything is ready.
