Boy...that downtime for the forum really gave you guys some steam! Too many great shots! This voting session is going to be difficult!

Hallo,

this is my contribution to the screen shots of this week.
Going back in time, a Milwaukee Road GP9 crosses the bridge over Lower Crab Creek while running at the Royal City Branch.
The still electrified transcontinental mainline can be seen in the background just in front of the steep slope of the Saddle Mountain chain.

The Royal City Branch has been built in 1967 as the last significant extension of the Milwaukee Road due to provide a rail connection to the many storage silos newly been built back that time.
The tracks of the Royal City Branch and the mainline tracks to Othello remains even today,
but the mainline west of the old switch of the Royal City Branch has been removed leaving a large stripe of dirt gravel.

Your's TUME :)

All these shots that have been submitted this week so far are excellent! Keep 'em coming!

<snip>

My first one here in a couple or three weeks, hope y'all like it!
:)

Yeah, I like it. You could swap the tracks for a two-lane road and probably have something close to the environment around where I live. The forest being behind the field is something I've seen around here.

Great shot Casper. The photorealistic textures on the traincar are really nice. I like the grass growing out of the bottom-left corner; is it one of the JVC grasses?

And I see the...aww, you know! ;)

Regards,

Zachary.

Yes, it’s one of jankvis’ fine animated creations. It’s quite an old one, pre-dating the SpeedTree era!

It waves gently in the breeze and looks absolutely great close up.

@ henkiehenk

I think what ulmer94 is asking is which of your three shots are you placing for your entry.

This thread is the Screenshot of the Week competition where just one screenshot per member is permitted.

Check out the first post for details.

Thanks Casper. I downloaded probably all of jankvis's grass assets from the DLS that I didn't have (which is a mighty big heap of assets: over a thousand!) back on January 26, so I have this one, and loads more that I should look through.
