Starting a new week early to get the contest into synchronization with the calendar week (i. e., starting on Sunday and ending on Saturday). The submission and voting threads for the week of 11/2 to 11/9 will continue as normal.

This week's theme: Showers and thunderstorms.

Next week's theme: High-altitude stations (suggested by rbar_164).

One screenshot allowed per entrant. Screenshots must adhere to the theme and the Code of Conduct.

Submission closes on November 13 at 12:00 a. m. UTC (November 12 at 8:00 p. m. here in the eastern U. S.), after which point voting will begin.

Please feel free to PM me with suggestions for themes, etc. They are much appreciated! :)

Good luck. :)

Regards,

Retro.

Ya don't know how stinking long it took me to get this with the lightning just so... A pain in the rear, but I like the outcome:

And I like the outcome too. :)

@qassaquyangli: Nice shot, but where's the rain? Off-theme shots get their votes halved in the results. :)

There are holes in the sky
Where the rain gets in
They’re ever so small
That’s why rain is thin
