Two Main Lines for the Price of One!

Heathmoor is a fictional interchange station in the English West Country in the late 1930s, where one of the, recently (3rd rail) electrified Southern Railway mainlines joins the earlier Great Western mainline.

GWR, of course, quite often built stations for towns a mile or two from the mainline and this heathland is clearly one of those spots and the Southern Railway has considered a slight diversion prudent to provide the passenger and goods interchange.

This route is still a work in progress, but this screenshot gives you the feeling for it.

Peter.

I'm sorry for all the delays in running this contest. Yes, if anyone wants to take over and do a better job at running it, feel free. Anyone who takes over would need to first arrange with N3V to transfer the moderator rights for this forum, and I can forward the PMs I've received containing theme suggestions I haven't used.

Regards,

Zachary.

Zachary,

You're fine! Life just gets in the way sometimes! Folks were just giving you a heads-up that's all.
