Hi.
Why are screen resolution settings on M1 Macs so strange? (don't know about Intel macs)
I can't get the native 1754x1080 (top notch excluded) on my MBPro 2021. Just 1920x1080 (and no others). Not a great problem but at native res some artifacts can disappear.
(also): i.e.: 1280x800 on a 16:9 external display: the aspect ratio is not respected (should be 1280x720).
Is there no way to add the option "Default screen resolution" as in most games?
Is the problem in the way Mac OS handles screen resolutions? I don't think so as SwitchresX can detect and handle it as per attached image.
Tnx for any help or any info that could lead me to solve the problem.
