I'm trying to take some screenshots when I hit print screen and and go to paste it in I get no image. This only happens in trainz. I'm using 2010, i remember a couple years ago had the same problem with another program it was a hud that i used for playing poker online and if i did a print screen everything showed up but the hud. The company that made the software tech support told me how to fix this with a setting but I forgot how it was done. Any ideas.

Another question I have is when you have the game open you cannot access your taskbar is this normal? I think if I could get to my taskbar I could use the snipping tool in win7.

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

No clue if it works the same in 2010, but in 12 you can find your screenshots here:
TS12\UserData\screenshots

If you mean the Windows taskbar, consider pressing the Windows button on your keyboard ;-) or press alt-tab to switch between programs.

This is the same location for screenshots in 2010.

Remember that if you wish to publish them to the forum or use as thumbnail in an asset folder, you may have to do some editing and resizing, depending on your screen resolution.
