So I messed around and accidentally did this. Now the route is frozen and stuck. Trying to delete it but this is taking forever and a day. What can I do to fix this?

What exactly did you do? It is not clear from the image or your vague description.
So I was messing around trying to paste a saved scrapbook item on my route and all that happened was this gigantic circle adding on these high detailed trees and some ground texture. After about an hour of trying to undo in surveyor 2.0 I gave up and switched to classic. Then I had to delete the baseboards and everything went back to normal.

Scrapbook data and scrapbook clone was what I used. That's what messed me up. Instead of using the paste tool which would've automatically applied the most recent scrapbook. Lesson learned.

Scrapbook data and scrapbook clone was what I used.

Looks like case of a scrapbook being pasted with a large brush and a small scaling factor. This will "hang" the system while it attempts to clone the scrapbook to fit.

The following was copied from the Trainz Wiki at https://online.ts2009.com/mediaWiki/index.php/How_to_Use_S20_Tools#Scrapbook_Data

Take particular note of the Warning at the bottom.

Notes:

Scrapbook Brush will resize the scrapbook contents to fit the selected brush shape and size.
DotPoint.JPG
If the brush is small then the scrapbook contents will be compressed closer together
DotPoint.JPG
If the brush is large then the contents will be spaced further apart
DotPoint.JPG
Every Left Click will paste another complete scrapbook copy
DotPoint.JPG
The Scale setting in the Tool Options Palette is ignored.
Scrapbook Clone will paste the scrapbook sized according to the Tool Options Palette Scale setting (100%= original size)
DotPoint.JPG
If the brush is the same size as the scaled scrapbook then a single exact copy will be painted
DotPoint.JPG
If the brush is smaller than the scaled scrapbook in size then only the central part of the scrapbook will be revealed and more will be added when the brush is moved around until the "painted" area covers the same area as the scaled scrapbook. Further painting will clone or tile the scrapbook contents
DotPoint.JPG
If the brush is larger than the scaled scrapbook in size then the contents will be cloned or tiled to fill the set brush radius

WARNING:
Take care if setting both the Scale and Radius . Using extreme values for both, such as a very large brush radius and a very small scale value, can cause performance issues (i.e. long delays) while the program attempts to scale and clone the scrapbook contents

I found out the hard way myself after I scaled my brush incorrectly. I ended up with a bazillion trees, I'm guessing on the number, all squeezed into a tiny space. This caused Surveyor to freeze completely as it attempted to place the bazillion trees into the tiny space. I ended up killing Surveyor and doing a DBR after leaving the thing running for more than an hour. Lesson learned.

One of the faults I find with the Scrapbook is not knowing what scale to use when pasting down an area without trial and error. If the circle with the square inside turned green to indicate the same size as the original copy, that would be really helpful for starters.

Having a ghosted image or outline of the copied area inside would give us a chance to see where to paste down the objects. This is useful for complex junctions and for city blocks, for example.
