saxrt trainz 2010 module routes

What is a module route? Like a trans dem thing?? I've been hand creating mine for almost 2 years and have cut it from 100+ miles to 30 perfectly detailed miles. When I mean detailed, I'm thinking there are things one can do in trainz by hand that get much better results. BUT with the time and computing of the future I'm sure we could see the dust flying off a box car as it rattles its way across a diamond. See the suspension flex ect.....CHeers William

At the current I have pulled them down. After looking at them I felt the track was old and out dated. With in 48 from this message I'll have them back up. If you like you can check back on the SAXT forums or I can personally let you know here.
To answer the second question, I got a wild idea some years ago to help those that new to trainz. so I created some boards with only two tracks on them. There were four different boards with curves on them and four with straight sections and crossovers on them. The idea behind this was that they could merged together to make a route of any size, and to give the new user a chance to explore trainz. Then they could add their own scenery. Now I know that may seem pointless, but it was my attempt some of the newer younger members. Being as such there we no scenery installed, I never uploaded them to DLS. I hosted them on SAXT. Which is what I'll do with up graded sections.

I believe you are referring to the U-Make series that a group of guys came out with quite a number of years ago. They did a series of different boards that came with curves, hills, rivers, junctions. They were textured, albeit, very primitively. The track was placed always on zero '0' level and was always a set distance from the edges. It was a great concept but never followed completely through for various reasons.

I'm glad to see others have picked up on it again. It really is a great idea that will get many newcomers into route building, which I think was the concept behind this.

Sorry John but I am not. What is referring to is some basic boards that were set up by me. All that was on them was track. The idea was to get the new user up and running. I also thought the idea would never take off. I was convinced I was correct until this post came up.
