The s-junctions and track built in to TS12 look very nice, however, I can't figure out how to get them to work. Can anyone help.

Thanks

Calling TRam

I too would like to know how to use the s_junction series. I downloaded them all from DLS and went on the Trains UP site but can't find anything about how to set up the blades on the junctions.

Perhps a TS12 user can find a route in 12 that uses the junctions and check out the kuid of the blades. To find a route, right-click on the junction asset in CM and view the dependent assets.

Thanks in anticipation

Trevor

It's rather easy though. You take an invisible track and begin laying from the single end - inner circle to the cross marked where the blades should split. Onwards from the cross you draw two more invisible splines to each side - inner circle and voila, you have a junction. To make blades appear place an invisible lever and then right click the junction object itself. It should be configured with the correct lever. Enjoy.

Слова благодарности товарищ.

That works just fine. Another question: What is the difference between the junctions where the name ends with _L and those that do not?

Thank you for your information

And leto means summer. So If you find a leto junction it means it's supposed to be placed in the summer :) And you are very welcome. Just don't forget to put all junctions in Session layers. Whee my 444th post!

. I,m probably misunderstanding this post but When I had 2010 I always placed junctions in Route, never, ever session. Whenever I did and played the session, saved it and gone back to it the junctions were corrupted. This problem is well documented in Forums. Never tried it in TS12 though.

After placing and naming the switch lever of your choice on the correctly formed S_Junction, use the Object tool (F3) to select the junction object you placed then click the Properties icon ("?").

In the Properties window that opens up click the junction name (next to the Russian text) then select the name you just gave the switch from the drop down list.

The correct set of blades should then be displayed.
