Running Number Help

GN1996

Not a real user title.
Hi all,

I am reskinning the TS12 built-in F7's and was wondering how I could set the locomotive up so that the number boards would have letters on them. I need them to show something along the lines of numbers like 365-A or 270-A. I would like to configure auto-running numbers, but the U-Number it system would be fine too.

Download CNW F7A 1,<kuid:522774:100404> and clone that.
Open the clone for edit, change the username, change the running numbers from the 4000 low - 4200 high to whatever you want. Open the \f7_drgw4s_body folder, copy all the .tga files from your reskin, paste into the clone to overwrite. Edit, commit. Don't overwrite the entire \f7_drgw4s_body folder because if you don't use my f7_drgw4s_body.im file you won't have the additional exterior cabviews.

OK, thanks for the help Sniper, it's much appreciated. I will probably have to try it tomorrow though, as I'm quite tired and on the verge of falling asleep.

ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ

You had to go and say that, don't you know that's contagious? Now I'm getting slee

I tried what you said Sniper and it worked, but it doesn't have the A, B, C, or D like I need for these locos to have.

Haven't looked into that yet, might need to steal scripts and/or alpha numbers from jointed rail - looking at the original Auran ATSF F7 this was cloned from, got 0 thru 9 but no ABCD. Probably does need a script, if you just add ABCD to the alphas and digit texts, you'd get the letters in random places.
