RRMods Updates...

Tell me about waiting...

 I haven't discussed the GP15T in a month of Sundays + Many-Moons...

One day around the Thrall-Car plant in Cartersville, GA, I caught a Bright-Future U18B + Chessie GP15T doing the local-man at the soap-plant....no camera & I wasn't by there the next day.......maybe someday.......:o

Starting too? They have been doing it since day 1! Seriously though, that GP15 is wow, the textures are simply stunning. Looks like we have some catching up to do.... ;)

Great stuff as usual gentlemen, can't wait.

Mike

Thank you for saying what I was thinking as well. I really really respect what you said and I admire your friendly attitude. I think that in the end, everyone wins when stuff gets made. ^^ I personally own stuff from both JR and RRmods and love everything both puts out!

I really hope Jointedrail and RRmods can keep making great freeware and payware for ages to come!

Gisa ^^

robbiehanson & SPNGTyler:wave: , you guys are 100% correct, the older engines were Great!

The standards today though are much higher then they were back when those were made, Joe and the rest of the gang are using the newest software now and are totally redoing some of the models all over from scratch, producing the highest quality models available for Trainz yet;) . Totally new textures too!

When a new model is made, if there was a preexisting one the older model is "retired" , again, to ensure you are getting the highest quality model that you could Possibly get:D .

I agree. At the time, they were some of the best, but now they don't compare to Joe's current models and they look kind of funny lashed up with the newer ones.

Very well put Jimi:D , looking at the engines that RRMods has been putting out there is no way we could possibly keep the older ones, its a whole new ballgame.

The bar is Much higher now, producing and putting out the Best quality work is what RRMods Prides its self on. Take another look at the GP15's posted in this thread for instance, need I say more;) .

Test shots of the first pack in TRS2004. Just needs about one or two more days at the most before we are ready to send out the pre-orders. When it is sent out the order button will not be available for several days.

I wonder how much commission would provide a custom... everything? (Yes, I would LOVE to specify and interior.) :hehe: I just fooling around. I'm only pondering on the idea.

Cheers,
Joshua

EDIT: What GP15-WHAT?:udrool:So much... oh so very much wanting... :hehe:

I remember seeing one of these at the Illinois Railway Museum for Diesel Days.

... I don't think there's any difference between the two!

Cheers,
Joshua

Got my pre order in. This new model is almost on the edge of being ridiculous, its so detailed.... I can not wait!

I'll be a buyer on the CSX/CR stuff as well...

Mike

Pre-order coming across the Atlantic, Joe, fabulous looking locos.

I assume chaps that the older GP15's are being phased out as these will be TS2009 and TS2010 playable as well as the older versions of Trainz, of course.

Now, will I need a new graphics card to capture these extreeeeeemely highly detailed locomotives, decisions, decisions.....:hehe:

Cheerz. ex-railwayman.

Testing the GP15's out for Joe in TS09 right now;) , a few in game shots...

simulatortrain & gisa  , Thanks guys! , Joe really done a Fantastic job on them:udrool: .

I'll have those, the CNW versions, and a few "special" ones posted in the UP thread once they are released;) .

Give everyone here an idea of how far rrmods has pushed forward, here is a shot of their old gp15 (now apparently a rare asset that they have removed it) vs. their new gp15

Notice how crummy the TRAINZ interface looks in comparison to these things....

cheers
