I know many people probly have heard of RRMods, but for anyone looking for quality Trainz content they are your source for some of the best content out there! I'm no reporter for RRMods, just a RRMods fan who is a loyal customer there:hehe:. Their recently released freeware, is some of the best they ever released. For starters, the BN Tiger Stripe SD60, followed by the Oakway Leasing and CNW (you can never have too much CNW running around!), and now Conrail, CN, and EMD Demonstrators! Plus for you PRR fans, the Brunswick green and Tuscan red SD45s, in both single-stripe and five-stripe versions, a set of PRR Alco FA-1s, and an updated set of the UP turbines. For all who are new to Trainz and haven't heard of RRMods, I highly reccommend them to any new Trainz user.

I have brought Jointed Rail payware before and downloaded alot of their freeware. I have also downloaded alot of RRMODS freeware. These last couple of days, RRMODS has put a pep in their step x10. JR and RRMODS in my opinion make the best American rolling stock and locomotives. They are so close. I would really like to see them make passenger content for MTA, NJT and Amtrak. If they can make locomotives and freight rolling stock very good, then I bet they would be really good with passenger equipment.

I know this would never happen in real life but I just took those new Oakland SD60's out for a spin on my route which takes place in NYC right now, and these are awesome engines for freeware. They have awesome horns, nice weathering here and there and scratches and marks to make it look like it has been used before. Very realistic locomotive.

Had to give a shout out to one of the best, ya know. And as to the rest of the replies here, I second the motion about JR. I have three of their payware engines and need to get them back. They are amazingly detailed. RRMods and JR run neck and neck in this category.
