Route Making.

Bet if you took it to a PC repair store like Staples, they could break the Password and get you in, and the laptop would be good as new ... even a low end laptop is great in surveyor.

Everyone should have a "Beater" PC !

If you re-installed TRS2006 on your new PC (in your Auran Folder) ... I could then help you with surveyor/routes.

How much free space is left on your "C" hard drive ?
Oh I have enough space :hehe:

Hi Nascarfan.

I myself have serious trouble working with terrain and I recently completely a route called "Chapham" which is available on the DLS.
I am currently working on a much larger route that is multiplayer orientated as it combines a good level of detail over processing cababilities.

If you would like to add me on Skype, my skype name is ductorphil and I would be more than happy to show you some easy methods of dealing with terrain generation.
I don't have the money for TrainzDEM so I learned the hardway.
Dang Man! Your trick worked! :D I really like What I got done with it! Here's a picture. :D

Glad that I could help Nascar. :) Those hills look very nice and smooth.

If you come across any crags or notches that look out of place, you can very easily fix them using the small raise/lower terrain button and the lowest sensitivity.

you can tutor me lol, i just finished a big import of a transdem route, now i dont even know where to start lol.

Anyone is welcome to add me on skype if they want help.

Since I'm still working on terrain on my own route, this basically means that I can explain what I am doing while I am working on it. Please note that I create my terrain without the use of DEM as I don't have that software.

That route in the picture is actually meant to be another Model Railroad I want to make, BUT...now that I know how to landscape a lot better I'm planning on extending it and making it a 20-30 baseboard route :D

As you can tell I've gotten a lot better than last year, this is about the time I started working on this piece of junk last year :hehe: It's called The Mountain Valley if you're wondering, I'm gonna make a better version soon. :hehe:

CAN SOMEONE PLEASE EXPLAIN TO ME WHY I STILL HAVE IT!?:hehe:

Hi Fermas

As nice as your screenshots are for your prototypical route, it would be alot better for you to post them in the screenshots section of the forum rather than here, as this thread was orientated to helping with creating smooth hills in surveyor.

If anyone else still wants help in surveyor, I am glad to assist.
